About
Built for two industries, on purpose.
Double Eagle Financial exists because the businesses with the most irregular money — agents living on commission timing, contractors living on job margin — are the ones generic bookkeeping serves worst.
Why we exist
The gap we kept seeing.
Real estate agents and general contractors have something unusual in common: the money arrives in lumps, the costs attach to specific pieces of work, and almost nobody tracks the connection between the two. So the books get done, the tax return gets filed, and the owner still can't answer the only question that would change how they run the business — which work is actually worth doing?
General bookkeeping can't close that gap, and not because general bookkeepers are bad at their jobs. It's structural. Cost allocation to a deal or a job requires a chart of accounts built for it from the start, plus tooling to do the allocation reliably every month. A firm serving dentists, agencies, e-commerce stores and contractors at once can't build that for any of them.
So we picked two industries and built for them specifically. That's the entire strategy.
What we believe
Four positions that shape how we work.
Clean books are the input, not the product
Reconciliation is the price of entry. If that's all a firm delivers, they've handed you tidy history and left the interpretation — the part that changes decisions — to you.
Publish the price
Quote-on-request pricing usually means the number depends on what the firm thinks you'll pay. Ours is on the pricing page. Same price for everyone, including the person who doesn't like negotiating.
Guarantee only what you control
We guarantee delivery by the 10th because we control it. We won't promise tax savings or profit outcomes, which depend on your business and your CPA. A guarantee you can't honor isn't a guarantee, it's marketing.
Turn down bad fits
We regularly tell people to stay with their current bookkeeper, or that they're not big enough yet for our reporting to pay for itself. A client who shouldn't have signed leaves in four months and tells people why.
How we work
Small firm, deliberately.
The person on your monthly review call is someone who knows your file — not an account manager reading a summary.
We use our own tooling to handle the repetitive parts of reconciliation and cost allocation: it flags exceptions, anomalies and anything uncategorized. What it doesn't do is decide. Every exception gets human review before anything reaches you, because an automated guess about which job a $3,000 material charge belongs to is worse than no number at all.
That's also why we cap how many clients we take at once. Capacity is real, and a firm that pretends otherwise is a firm whose books close on the 25th.
What you can hold us to
- Financials by the 10th, or that month is free — written into the engagement letter
- Read-only access to your accounts. We never gain the ability to move money
- Published pricing, and a Cleanup Sprint quote that's fixed once given
- No annual contract — 30 days' notice, and your file leaves with you
- A straight answer about whether we're the right fit, including when we aren't
Straight about where we are
A young firm, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Double Eagle Financial is a growing practice, not a hundred-person shop with two decades of case studies. You won't find invented testimonials, stock-photo teams or borrowed logos on this site, because a bookkeeping firm that fakes its own proof has told you everything you need to know about how it handles your numbers.
What we offer instead is verifiable: published pricing, a written guarantee, a scope you can read before you sign, and a free Profit Leak Audit that gives you real work product before you've paid anything. Judge the audit. It's a better signal than a testimonial you can't check.
Founder
LaDarius Jackson
I started Double Eagle Financial after watching the same problem play out with agent and contractor clients over and over: real decisions — take the job or don't, can I afford to hire — getting made on guesswork instead of actual numbers. I'm an undergraduate at the University of Mississippi studying Business Analytics and Information Systems, QuickBooks ProAdvisor certified (Level 1 and Level 2), and I manage books daily in QuickBooks Online for this firm's clients today. That's not a credential dressed up as more than it is — it's the actual work. I built this firm on the belief that agents and contractors deserve numbers they can trust, not numbers they hope are right.
The fastest way to judge us is to make us do some work.
The Profit Leak Audit is free, specific to your numbers, and yours to keep either way.
