Terms of service
The terms governing this website and the scope of what we do.
Last updated: 2026 · Double Eagle Financial LLC, Memphis, Tennessee
Note for the site owner: these terms cover website use and set expectations about scope. They are not a substitute for your client engagement letter, which is the document that actually governs paid work. Have both reviewed by an attorney licensed in Tennessee before launch.
1. About these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Paid services are governed separately by the engagement letter you sign before work begins; where the two conflict, the engagement letter controls.
2. What we do — and don't
Double Eagle Financial LLC provides bookkeeping, financial reporting and advisory services. We are not a CPA firm, a law firm, or a registered investment adviser. We do not prepare or file tax returns, provide tax or legal advice, audit financial statements, or give investment recommendations. Nothing on this website constitutes tax, legal, accounting or investment advice, and you should consult a licensed professional before acting on financial information.
3. Information on this site
Pricing, service descriptions and timelines published here are accurate at the time of writing and may change. Any figures shown in examples — including illustrative reports — are for demonstration only and do not represent any actual client. A binding quote comes only from a written proposal or engagement letter.
4. The on-time guarantee
Our published guarantee is that monthly financials are delivered by the 10th of the month, failing which the affected month's fee is credited. The full terms, including the exception for delays caused by information requested from the client and not supplied, are set out in the engagement letter. This guarantee applies to delivery timing only and is not a guarantee of any financial, tax or business outcome.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete records and reasonable access to the accounts we need.
- Respond to reasonable requests for information in time for us to meet the delivery deadline.
- Review the reports we deliver and tell us promptly if something looks wrong.
- Keep responsibility for your own tax filings and for decisions made using our reports.
6. Fees and cancellation
Monthly fees are billed in advance. The Cleanup Sprint is billed once, upfront, at the quoted amount. Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. There is no exit fee, and your accounting file and templates are returned in usable condition.
7. Confidentiality
We treat your financial information as confidential and will not disclose it except as described in the privacy policy, as you direct, or as legally required. We will not use your business as a named reference, case study or testimonial without your written permission.
8. Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this website belong to Double Eagle Financial LLC. Templates and reporting structures we build inside your accounting file are licensed to you and remain yours to use after the engagement ends; the underlying tooling we use to produce them does not transfer.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Shelby County, Tennessee.
